Our center welcomes children from nine months to three years old. We are an English immersion nursery program following the RIE/Pikler approach. Our classrooms are run using a non-hierarchical, co-teaching model with 3 teachers working together as a team to ensure we provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children. Our teachers are all passionate educators and life long learners. They strongly believe in a child centered, relationship based approach which respects children's individual rhythm and interests. As a co-learner rather than an instructor, educators carefully listen, observe, and document children's work and the growth of community in their classroom. By setting up an environment supporting free movement, the teachers are allowing the children to develop at their own pace. This leads to self confidence, persistence, self esteem, confidence in their environment and within their group of peers, confidence in their caregivers and solid capacity of adaptation, but above
